World App is a different kind of wallet. It doesn’t support every token or feature typically expected from a crypto wallet, nor does it expose all possible configuration options. Instead, it is designed by TFH with a focus on key functionalities of Worldcoin and Ethereum, keeping things simple and familiar so that anyone can use them.
In the past, building a global identity and financial application would take decades and thousands of people to maintain. However, thanks to Ethereum’s composability, World App can programmatically mix and match open protocols and APIs to make this a reality today.
World App uses account abstraction via SAFE contracts to enhance both security and simplicity. Peer-to-peer payments support ENS usernames for more user-friendly ERC-20 transfers. Token swaps are enabled through the Uniswap protocol. Circle’s USDC allows users worldwide to access fully backed digital dollars around the clock. Globally authorized partners like Ramp and MoonPay support frictionless deposits and withdrawals. The beta version currently runs on Polygon, and thanks to the community’s work on EIP-4844, the full version will run on Ethereum rollups.
Proof of Personhood unlocks even more accessibility features. Verified World ID holders enjoy gasless transactions, trusted transfers between verified users, access to learn-to-earn programs, and 24/7 customer support in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
