TORUS is a crypto wallet that supports one-click login to Web 3.0 applications such as cryptocurrency decentralized exchanges and NFT platforms. It is a mainstream gateway for users to access the decentralized ecosystem through their personal and social media accounts (such as Google, Facebook, Discord, etc.). Torus is headquartered in Singapore and is one of the first projects released by Binance Labs.
Use a web browser to visit https://app.tor.us/, you can log in to the Torus wallet using your social media account.
You need your public address to receive tokens to your Torus wallet, or to send tokens to your Torus wallet from other wallets and exchanges. Before making a transaction, make sure you are sending the right token to the right network that the Torus wallet currently supports. Torus currently supports all Ethereum networks, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon (Matic), ReefChain, and xDai. To identify your public address, make sure you are logged into the right account, then go to your home page, where you will be able to see your public key represented by a long alphanumeric string. You can scan your QR code to reveal the corresponding address, or copy the address into the corresponding recipient field when attempting to initiate a transaction. Please note the applicable gas/transaction fees.
When a user creates an account on Torus, their private key is split into multiple keys that are protected behind their social accounts, on their devices, and a backup phrase sent to their email. Users only need one of these two keys to restore access to their account.
