The HiveWallet app is built for users of the Hive blockchain. Hive is a multimedia-focused blockchain — for blogging stories, sharing videos, live streaming, audio, and images. In terms of encryption, it is as secure as the cli_wallet app provided by Hive software, using AES-256 encryption with a unique initialization vector for each device and each (re)installation. The app also requires you to choose a strong, hard-to-guess password to encrypt your wallet file. If your device offers biometric access (Touch ID, Face ID, fingerprint) and you've enabled it, you can opt to store that password in the device's native keychain.
