Why is Guarda Wallet considered an interface?

When you create a wallet on Guarda, all public and private keys for supported assets are generated locally in your browser. You can now interact directly with blockchains through the wallet interface. Simply share your public address to receive coins or tokens. Congratulations!

Guarda Wallet does not store private keys, passwords, or any personal data. This makes Guarda one of the most advanced and secure interfaces for direct blockchain interaction.

How can I protect my funds from being lost?

Make sure your passwords and keys are securely stored and never lost—if you lose them, they are gone forever. After creating a wallet or importing a private key, create a backup immediately. Do not store the backup on your computer. If you place a high priority on fund security, we recommend using a hardware wallet.
