Bixin was founded in 2014, originally known as the HaoBTC Wallet. In February 2017, it underwent a complete rebranding and officially became Bixin. It is now operated by Bixin Network Technology Limited, based in Hong Kong. The Bixin team consists of graduates from top institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, and Renmin University of China, with prior work experience at leading tech companies including Baidu, Microsoft, and ByteDance. The team brings together some of China’s earliest Bitcoin investors, early evangelists, and core code contributors — a group of true Bitcoin believers. The Bixin App, the first Bitcoin-focused mobile social platform in China, is designed around people, enabling communication and value transfer through a social approach. It allows users to engage with Bitcoin easily and freely, within an orderly framework. With a vibrant and authentic community and minimalist, powerful tools, Bixin has become a new lifestyle for many. Today, it has attracted tens of thousands of active Bitcoin investors across China.
