About Flare Network (FLR)

The primary goal of the Flare decentralized project is to serve as a bridge between cryptocurrency ecosystems such as XRP and Ethereum. In the project's network implementation, Flare supports distributed ledger networks utilizing highly interoperable ERC-20, thereby increasing the capabilities of XRP.

Spark (FLR) is one of the two cryptocurrencies that support and drive the Flare network. Songbird (SGB) is the other. The cryptocurrency is used in the project's dedicated canary testnet before the Flare mainnet implementation. FLR prices are updated live on Binance.

Flare is a layer 1 EVM blockchain with 2 core protocols: State Connector and Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO). Through these protocols, developers can create a powerful ecosystem of decentralized interoperable applications.
