The Dogecoin Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide the following services: (i) support Dogecoin through development and advocacy; (ii) protect the Dogecoin trademark to prevent abuse and fraud; and (iii) develop a roadmap and provide governance for the future of Dogecoin.
The Foundation was originally founded in 2014 by members of the Dogecoin team to provide governance and support for the Dogecoin project. In 2021, the core development team members, as well as new members and experienced advisors, have injected new energy into the Foundation, and they are ready to continue to develop Dogecoin for the next decade!
